1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Life's Big Adventures Golf Classic platform ("Platform") at golf.lifesbigadventures.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. About the Organization

Life's Big Adventures ("LBA") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 87-2259753). The Platform is used to manage the annual LBA Golf Classic charity tournament, including registration, sponsorships, donations, raffle packages, and the Silent Auction.

3. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

4. Tournament Registration

• Registration is subject to availability and event capacity.
• Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
• Refund requests must be made at least 14 days before the event. Refunds are issued at LBA's discretion.
• LBA reserves the right to modify event details (date, venue, format) as necessary.
• Participants must conduct themselves appropriately. LBA reserves the right to remove any participant for misconduct.

5. Silent Auction

The following terms apply to the Silent Auction feature of the Platform:

Bidding

• All bids are binding commitments to purchase the item at that price.
• Bids cannot be retracted once placed.
• The Platform supports proxy bidding (maximum bid). Your maximum bid amount is kept confidential; the system bids on your behalf up to your maximum.
• Minimum bid increments are set per item and must be respected.
• LBA reserves the right to cancel any bid or auction item at its discretion.

Buy Now

• Some items may have a "Buy Now" price that allows immediate purchase.
• Once a Buy Now purchase is completed, the auction for that item ends.

Winning & Payment

• The highest bidder at auction close wins the item.
• Anti-sniping rules may extend the auction if bids are placed near closing time.
• Winners will be notified by email and/or SMS and must complete payment promptly.
• Failure to complete payment within the specified timeframe may result in forfeiture of the item.
• All sales are final. Items are provided "as is" with no warranties.

6. SMS Notifications

By providing your phone number when placing a bid, you consent to receive automated SMS notifications from LBA related to your auction activity. This is a recurring message program. Message frequency varies based on auction activity. Message and data rates may apply.

• Text STOP to opt out of SMS notifications at any time.
• Text HELP for help or contact nikki@lifesbigadventures.org.
• Supported carriers include major US carriers. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Donations & Sponsorships

• Donations to LBA are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
• Sponsorship benefits are as described at the time of purchase.
• In-kind donations are accepted at LBA's discretion and valued per IRS guidelines.

8. Payments

Payments are processed through PayPal. By making a payment, you also agree to PayPal's terms of service. LBA does not store credit card information on its servers.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Life's Big Adventures or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. LBA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. LBA's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to LBA in connection with the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Modifications

LBA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
